At 2850 meters above the sea level, far from the maddening crowds within the Kedarnath Musk Deer Sanctuary´s Rhododendron and Oak forests lies a quaint little Mud Hut.

The Mud Hut has local stone and wood construction and is plastered with a cow dung & mud paste. To complete the local look, the Hut also has a thatched roof. The hut has 5 cosy rooms with a view on the first floor and a spacious hall with a small fire place on the ground level. There are lots of open spaces and sitting areas outside to enjoy the delightful views and warm sun. We have some luxury cabins scattered in the wild too.

There is neither electricity nor mobile networks here so people do what they come here to do. Just relax, read that book and breath that much needed pure air for a change. The small hamlet of Bhulkuna where the hut is located is exactly 2 km from Chopta which is world famous for its majestic Himalayan views, rich bio diversity and trekking trails.People come here for myriad of reasons ranging from musicians and writers seeking a quiet and inspiring place, photographers capturing the beauty of the
