Help Us Soar - B2B
Come and contribute to our cause, and every little bit counts towards paving the path for a better tomorrow.
We offer small group transformational tailor-made trips into the Himalayas with a substantial positive impact on the local mountain communities and environment.
If you are a travel organization that offers its customers unforgettable, life-altering, meaningful, and experimental travel experiences while uplifting the local communities and supporting environmental and educational projects, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking forward to partnering with responsible travel companies, universities, and schools (various educational programs). Our ambition is to keep our customs, culture alive and revive the handicraft and old age practices while controlling the mass tourism to our area. Therefore, we aim to offer 8 trips per year to keep these journeys authentic and sustainable.
We respect that you have decided to trust us with your travel expectations, and we strive to deliver an excellent experience.
We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to design a perfect trip according to your requirements.
Let's Work Together!
Volunteer/ Internship Opportunity
Show your support
Enabling volunteers and interns to make a difference in the local communities and environment.
We believe the best way for our initiatives to succeed is for the like-minded tribe to actively get involved.
Interns
It is aimed at candidates seeking work experience/internship positions in the responsible and sustainable travel initiative. If you dream, live and get inspired like we do, and your ethics matches ours, let's talk!
We would love to hear from you if you could support us in any of the above.
Volunteers
Looking for our tribe!
Fernweh is currently building a dream project - a retreat & community development center in Mandal/Chopta, Uttrakhand, India, a stunning location. Our site is surrounded by farms on a riverbank in a beautiful citrus valley backed up by the Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary.
Volunteering with us is not just about helping us; it is an opportunity to learn and practice in-depth the various aspects of natural farming and interacting/working with the local Himalayan communities and tribes.
Here is the list of areas we need your support in:
In The Garden
- Gardening (following the permaculture principles, for example, composting, raised bed making, attending to the food forest, etc.)
- Landscaping - path making, forest foraging, pruning, maintaining fish pond etc
Around The House
- Maintaining (painting, cleaning, repairs)
- Creative Building (Oven, carpentry, bench making, simple masonry)
In The Kitchen
- Harvesting
- Cooking
- Cleaning
Social Outreach
- Formulating and supporting in creating social impact programs
- Community help
- Children educational programs
Because this is a social concern and a social project, we expect you to reach out socially to your audience and promote our project.
What we require:
We require 5 hours of work every day and part contribution towards the food expenditure.
In exchange, we offer you a place to sleep in our dormitory stone-house, experience a sojourn in our sanctuary, community living, and cooking. And most crucially, knowledge of a simple life born out of a simpler quest to live in harmony with nature.
Note: Interns and Volunteers will be getting a certificate from us.
